Tesla Model Y Trunk Storage Bins with LED Lighting

Engineered Boot Organisation and Illumination

The rear cargo area of the Tesla Model Y offers generous space, yet the deep recesses situated behind the rear wheel arches frequently turn into forgotten catch-alls for loose items. These precision-engineered trunk storage bins transform those hollow cavities into practical, accessible compartments that align with the minimalist aesthetic of your vehicle. Designed specifically to sit flush within the rear quarter pockets, they secure everyday travel essentials so that nothing rolls across the boot floor during brisk acceleration or cornering.

To elevate functionality in low-light environments, each compartment includes a dedicated LED light bar. Factory boot lighting can often be obstructed by larger luggage pieces or groceries, leaving deep corners in darkness. The integrated illumination units brighten the side cavities instantly, allowing you to locate small accessories, tools, or footwear with ease. By marrying tailored storage geometry with deliberate lighting, these bins introduce an unmatched level of refinement to your vehicle's rear luggage area.

Whether you require a clean enclosure for wet weather gear or an organised space for charging equipment, this pairing of smart spatial organisation and rechargeable light bars elevates everyday utility. You can explore additional matching upgrades within our curated trunk storage range to cultivate a uniformly tidy cargo compartment across every mile.

Precision Compatibility for the 5-Seater Model Y

A proper fit is crucial to preserving the sophisticated look of your vehicle interior. These storage bins are tailored specifically for the 5-seater Tesla Model Y across all production years from 2021 to February 2025. Because the interior contours of the Model Y side boot pockets have subtle factory variations depending on build specifications, careful attention has been paid to the surrounding boot lining geometry.

Before selecting your set, please inspect the inner carpet lining within the side storage cavities of your vehicle by referencing our variant guide images. Production variations feature minor differences in carpet height and corner curvature, and choosing the proper variant guarantees that the flexible silicone borders sit flush against your vehicle panels without pinching, lifting, or vibrating loose while driving.

Once properly seated, the bins blend smoothly into the cabin architecture, providing an authentic factory-finished presence. They do not impede the primary cargo floor panel or compromise access to lower sub-trunk compartments, making them an ideal component in our comprehensive collection of protective interior accessories.

Food-Safe Silicone and Resilient Thermal Construction

Unlike rigid plastic trays that can rattle over road imperfections or emit unpleasant chemical odours inside a closed cabin, these storage units are constructed entirely from premium, eco-friendly silicone. This non-toxic, food-safe material is entirely odourless, ensuring your vehicle retains its pristine interior atmosphere even when left sealed in direct sun.

Silicone provides exceptional material resilience across a wide thermal spectrum, resisting extreme temperatures from minus 40 degrees Celsius up to 220 degrees Celsius. This extraordinary thermal stability ensures that the compartments will not crack, warp, brittle, or soften whether you are driving in freezing winter conditions or parking in high summer heat.

The inherent flexibility of the silicone construction allows the bins to be collapsible and expandable. When holding bulkier items, the side walls naturally adapt, and should you wish to fold them away temporarily, they compress flat without sustaining permanent crease lines. Their soft-touch physical composition also cushions delicate contents, preventing glass bottles, electronics, or loose hardware from clattering against the bare vehicle frame.

Rechargeable LED Light Bar with Magnetic USB-C Charging

Visibility is an essential component of vehicle practicality, particularly during evening arrivals or dark winter commutes. Each bin is supplied with an LED light bar engineered to disperse even, natural illumination directly downward into the pocket. Instead of requiring cumbersome wiring harnesses or tapping into your vehicle's primary electrical looms, these units operate completely independently.

The lighting unit incorporates a durable, high-capacity rechargeable battery designed for extended operational life between charges. Recharging is straightforward thanks to the included USB-C magnetic charging cable. The magnetic interface enables you to detach the light bar effortlessly from its mounting position in a single smooth motion, connect the magnetic lead, and recharge it from any standard USB port.

This independent power design completely protects your car's factory electrical system from aftermarket modifications. When you need illumination outside the car, the magnetic light bar can even be detached temporarily and utilized as a handheld work light, providing thoughtful multi-purpose convenience.

Effortless Maintenance for Demanding Travel

From wet umbrellas dripping rainwater to muddy hiking boots, damp athletic apparel, or bottles of windscreen washer fluid, the items relegated to boot corners are often damp or soiled. Because these bins are molded from a singular impermeable piece of silicone, they form a totally watertight protective barrier that shields your vehicle's original velour carpeting from dirt, moisture, and staining.

Cleaning the units requires minimal time and effort. Whenever mud, sand, or spilled fluids collect in the basin, simply remove the light bar, lift the flexible silicone container out of the recess, and rinse it thoroughly under a running garden tap or household sink. Because silicone does not absorb oils or water, grime washes away cleanly from the non-stick surface.

After rinsing, dry the interior with a soft cloth or allow it to air-dry before resting it back inside the boot cavity. The durable finish will not degrade or lose its soft sheen, even after repeated exposure to outdoor grime, dirt, or routine hand washing.
