Complete Weather and Grime Defence for Your Front Boot
The front luggage compartment of your vehicle offers exceptional storage versatility, yet driving through adverse weather conditions exposes panel seams to unwanted elements. Our waterproof protection strip creates an impenetrable barrier against rain, snow, slush, and road mud, preventing moisture from entering your frunk and spoiling personal items, charging hardware, or travel bags. By sealing the perimeter effectively, this strip ensures that your cargo remains clean and completely dry, regardless of how severe the weather becomes.
Beyond blocking water ingress, this strip acts as an essential line of defence against everyday airborne contaminants. Grit, dust, fine dirt, and autumn leaves frequently gather in body seams and migrate inward around the storage tub. Incorporating this specialised weather strip deflects road debris, maintaining an immaculate compartment interior. Explore our wider collection of protection upgrades to preserve every corner of your vehicle against routine wear and environmental exposure.
Engineered for Exact Tesla Model Y Compatibility
A reliable seal demands a bespoke geometry that conforms precisely to the contours of your vehicle. Specifically developed for the Tesla Model Y, this waterproof frunk strip accommodates all iterations and variants from 2021 through to February 2025. By mirroring the original contours of the front compartment architecture, the profile settles flush into place without impeding panel closure or latching mechanisms.
Whether you operate an earlier build or a newer model within the compatibility window, the component offers an exacting fit that looks thoroughly factory-installed. By choosing accessories crafted deliberately for the Tesla Model Y, you bypass the compromises of generic weather seals and enjoy cohesive integration that upholds the minimalist refinement of your car.
Resilient Material Composition: Premium ABS and Rubber
Longevity under challenging environmental conditions requires materials that resist degradation over repeated thermal cycles and moisture exposure. This frunk weather barrier combines premium ABS framework elements with high-grade, flexible rubber to provide both structural stability and an enduring acoustic and environmental seal. The resilient rubber core maintains its suppleness across cold winter conditions and warmer summer days alike, avoiding brittleness, cracking, or loss of sealing pressure.
The structural ABS sections provide the rigidity needed for seamless edge alignment, anchoring the rubber seal firmly along the aperture. Together, these premium materials resist wash chemicals, road salt, and dirt accumulation, ensuring that your vehicle benefits from consistent, maintenance-free performance month after month.
Effortless, Tool-Free DIY Installation in Minutes
Enhancing your front luggage area does not necessitate mechanical expertise or visits to a service centre. This protective strip is engineered for an intuitive, do-it-yourself installation that takes mere minutes to execute. Because the profile has been manufactured to accurate dimensions, it presses directly into position along the frunk channel without demanding drilling, cutting, or the use of specialised tools.
Before application, ensure the receiving channel is clean and free from loose dust or moisture. Once prepped, align the strip with the perimeter contours and press down evenly along the length of the trim to seat it fully. The integrated design seats securely and stays anchored during fast highway driving and frequent opening of the front boot.
Subtle Aesthetics and Effortless Maintenance
Preserving the understated, clean visual identity of your vehicle is just as vital as physical shielding. The discreet matte black profile of the frunk weather strip blends naturally into the surrounding plastics and body structure, presenting a refined appearance that enhances the overall aesthetic of the engine-free bay. It looks purposeful and unobtrusive, elevating vehicle detailing rather than detracting from it.
Keeping the seal in prime condition requires minimal effort. During your regular wash routine, simply wipe down the exposed rubber and ABS surfaces with a clean microfiber cloth and mild water or vehicle shampoo to remove accumulated surface dust.
